My child does not speak any Farsi yet. Will Pardis work?
Yes. Start in the 4–7 band — sentences are short, every page is read aloud, and the English column is one tap away. Most children pick up a hundred words in their first month.
Is the Farsi modern or classical?
The narration is modern conversational Farsi. The original Ferdowsi couplets appear at key moments, with a translation, so older children meet the real poetry without being lost in it.
Who illustrates the stories?
Each panel is generated in the Persian-miniature aesthetic — saffron, lapis, gold leaf — then reviewed and corrected by our editors before release. Where a story features motifs that need a human hand, we commission them directly from Iranian artists and credit the work.
Can I share my account with cousins?
On the Annual plan, yes — six profiles across one household. The Family Heirloom plan supports twelve profiles across multiple addresses, designed for grandparents who want to gift access.
Do you do anything beyond the Shahnameh?
Yes — the Shahnameh is the launch arc. Hafez, Rumi, and Sa'di for older children, Iranian folktales for the younger ones, and short biographies of modern Iranian figures, all coming through 2027.
My partner is not Iranian. Can they use it?
It is built for them too. Every page is fully readable in English, and the audio is bilingual. Many of our families are mixed — Pardis is often the bridge.
